Resolution
- Open Sage Accounts.
- In the Select Company window, select the required company then click Open Folder Location.
NOTE: If the Logon screen appears, instead of the Select Company window, click Cancel then browse to C:\Programdata\Sage\Accounts and rename the file sage.ini to sage.old then start again from step 1. - Rename the folder ACCDATA to ACCDATAOLD and create a new folder called ACCDATA in its place.
- Return to the Select Company window, select the required company and click OK.
- To restore a backup, select Restore data from a backup file and click Browse, then select the backup you want to restore and click Open.
TIP: If you want to create a new company, instead select Set-up a new company and click Next, then follow the on-screen instructions.
- Click Next then click Restore.
| IMPORTANT: When you restore a backup of your data to a different location or computer and use connected services, you'll see a Manage Cloud Connection window in v30.1 and above. Click here for more important information about this > |
