To locate your documents easily, they're stored in specific directories. You can also copy reports and layouts to another company or another computer.
Each company has its own layout, letter and label folders which are held in the same location as the company data.
The location of the company reports depends on whether or not you select the Use Data Path for Reports checkbox.
If selected, the reports are in the same data directory as the layout files.
If not selected, the reports are in one of the local folders below:
Where xx is your version number. For example V33.
Where xx is the year of your version. For example v32 is 2026.
If you've lost a report after upgrading or restoring a reports backup, refer to our troubleshoot missing reports and layouts article.
All versions of Sage 50 Payroll store your reports in the same folder. By default this is C:\ProgramData\Sage\Payroll\REPORTS
If you want to amend your report, find out how to customise reports and layouts.
Find existing reports, create your own and request bespoke reports for Sage 50 Accounts and Sage 50 Payroll. View the Additional reports and the Report Design Service article.
Leave management made simple
With Sage HR's Leave Management module, your people can manage their leave balance and request time off in an automated self-service app. That's less admin for all.
