What will migrate
Customers and Suppliers Records
Your customer and supplier records will migrate, however, only the first 8 characters of the account reference will migrate. Eg. CUSTOMERAB would become CUSTOMER
Any changes to codes will be listed in a report we return with your migrated Sage backup.
Nominal code and set up
Your chart of accounts will migrate but be renumbered to fit the Sage 50 Accounts COA. If you need to keep the same numbers a manual migration might suit you better. Read more >
Bank Records and balances
The bank details, bank balance and statement balance will be migrated.
Please note if there are any unreconciled bank accounts we'll reconcile to date and migrate the bank balance.
Products/Stock Records
NOTE: Sage 50 Accounts only uses the FIFO (first in, first out) method, so your records will migrate with the last cost price from TAS.
Your products and stock records will migrate into Sage 50 Accounts. Just be aware some of the codes can change during the migration if it's not accepted.
Opening Balances
- Static data only - all nominal, customer, supplier, product, bank records and no opening balances. This will allow you to enter your opening balances in Sage 50 Accounts.
- Opening Balances - no transactional breakdown or history, just all nominal, customer, supplier, product and bank balances with the customer and supplier balances broken down to show individual outstanding amounts.
You can find out what doesn't migrate in our other guide.
