Error Running reports - Arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow

When running reports on large data sets within Invoices and credits, Sales orders or Purchase orders, the following message may appear:

'Arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow'

To resolve this, try the following:

• If a search or filter is applied which shows all records, discard it
• If a search or filter is applied that returns only some records, discard it then run the report again. If successful, recreate the search or filter
• If the data set is large and no search or filter is applied, apply one to reduce the data shown and run the report again
• Creating a new Sage Accounts user with full access rights
• Delete the contents of the temporary folder. To open the temporary folder, press and hold the Windows key  and press R then enter %temp% then click Enter
• Delete the criteria files for the affected username
