Resolution

Enter a printer offset
  1. Report Designer > Tools > Options > Printer Offsets tab.

  2. Printer drop-down list > choose the required printer > Printer-specific offsets area > adjust the left and top offset options as follows:

Left offset To move the print to the left, decrease the value in this box.
To move the print to the right, increase the value in this box.
Top offset To move the print up, decrease the value in this box.
To move the print down, increase the value in this box.

For example, if your current printer offsets are both set to zero and when you measure the print it appears 0.25" too far to the left of the stationery and 0.4" too low, amend the settings as follows:

    Left offset = 0.25
    Top offset = -0.4

NOTE: The measurement used in the Left offset and Top offset can be changed in the Options tab, for example, if you want to use metric rather than imperial measurements. Read more >
