Move your Sage 50 P11D data to another location

Sometimes you need to move your Sage 50 P11D data to a new location on your computer or network.

To make this change, check where your data is, move it to the new location, then set the new location in Sage 50 P11D:

1. Within Sage 50 P11D, go to File then Change Database Location.
2. Make a note of the path to the database, then select Cancel.
3. Press the Windows key and R on your keyboard to open the Run window.
4. Enter the path you noted in step 1 and press Enter on your keyboard.
5. In the folder that opens, right-click the P11DData folder and select Copy.
6. Browse to the new location for your database and paste the P11DData folder here.
7. Within Sage 50 P11D, go to File, click Change Database Location.
8. Enter the new path to the database including the P11D.MDB file.
9. Select Save then OK.

If you moved your data to a network and other computers need access, repeat Step 7 through 9 on each computer that needs access.
