Summary
Description
Sometimes an employee requests that you pay part of their wages into a second bank account.
If you use e-banking, you can specify a second bank account to pay part of the employee's wages.
Resolution
Split the employee's wages
If you haven't already done so, set up e-banking before you follow these steps.
When you add a second account for an employee, the change takes effect from the next period you process. The change isn't retrospective for prior periods.
- On the Employee List, select the relevant employees.
- Click Employee then click Employee Record.
- Click the Banking tab then enter the main bank account details.
- If required, enter an IBAN, BIC, and BACS/Automated Credit Transfer reference
- Click Second Account then enter the second bank account details.
- If required, enter an IBAN, BIC, and BACS/Automated Credit Transfer reference
- In Pay into this account section, select Fixed Amount or Percentage as required.
- Enter the value you want to pay into the second account.
- Click OK then click Save then click Next.
- Once you've entered bank details for all required employees, click Save then click Close.
You've now successfully set up your employees to receive their pay split into two bank accounts.
When you create e-banking payments for this employee in subsequent periods, the employee appears twice on the list, once for each account
