Description

If you need to reinstall v29, follow the steps below.

 CAUTION: This isn't the latest version. If you need to install the latest version for the 2024/25 tax year, follow the download and install Sage 50 P11D v30 article.

Before you install

TIP: If you're installing for the first time you can skip this section and move on to the Download and install steps.

Lets take a look at a few preparation steps.

  1. Back up your data.
  2. Open Sage 50 P11D.
  3. Click Help, then click About.
  4. Click System Information, then click Application.
  5. Make a note of your installation directory.

  6. Click General and check your version number.

TIP: You'll also need your activation key and serial number after you install. How to find your serial number and activation key in your software.

Download Sage 50 P11D v29

  1. Close Sage 50 P11D and all other Sage software you have open on your machine.
  2. Click the link below:
  3. When the Download complete window appears, click Close.

Install Sage 50 P11D v29

  1. Right-click Sage50P11D_29071.exe and click Run as administrator.
  2. From the Sage 50 P11D v29 Welcome window, click Next.
  3. To confirm you accept the licence conditions, click Accept Licence.
  4. To confirm you agree to the licence agreement and proceed, click Accept Licence.
  5. The installer sets the installation path on your computer for v29 automatically, click Next.
  6. You need to set the location of your P11D company data for v29 now:
    • If you store your data on your computer, click Next without making any changes
    • If you use a server, create a new folder for your v29 data on the server then click Browse and browse to it, then click Next
  7. Click Next to begin the installation.

When your installation progress appears to be near completion, please allow time for the installation to complete.

When the installation is complete you must save any work you have open, and restart your computer.

Restore and upgrade your data

  1. Open Sage 50 P11D v29.
  2. Enter your serial number and activation key, and click Next.
  3. Select Create New data, then click Next.
  4. Click Next, then Finish. - If you're installing for the first time, that's it you've installed successfully.

     TIP: The default user name is Administrator and there's no password.

  5. Restore a backup of your data. The user names and passwords are transferred to the new version so you can enter your usual details to log in.
  6. To start the upgrade procedure, click Yes, click Next then click Finish.
  7. To start the recalculation, click OK then click OK.
