Description
When signing up for Sage, or creating a new user in the program, you’re required to confirm your email address.
This is done by entering the verification code sent within an email.
Failing to enter the verification code means you won't be able to access your Sage product.
CAUTION: This process is unrelated to 2FA and commonly happens if there's an issue completing your sign-up. Get support with 2FA verification codes in our FAQ: Common 2-factor authentication (2FA) questions.
Verify your initial account setup
If you didn't get the verification email, check the email address you've entered is correct. Select the Didn't get a code? Resend code link to resend a new code.
Enter this code when prompted and click Continue.
NOTE: Make sure your email provider allows messages from [email protected], as this address sends your verification code.
Still haven't received the email
The most common reasons are:
- It hasn’t reached your inbox yet. Emails can take up to 20 minutes to arrive
- It's in a different folder. Check your deleted items, spam, and junk folders
- You've used the wrong email address or made a spelling mistake. You'll need to sign up for the account again or Contact us
