How to record transfers of money between bank accounts in Sage Accounting.
Description
Use a bank transfer when you move money between accounts in Accounting, for example when you:
- Transfer money between your bank accounts and a savings account
- Pay a credit card that you've set up as a bank account
- Repay a bank loan recorded in Accounting
- Transfer money into a cash account, such as petty cash
Resolution
Record a bank transfer
- Go to Banking, then select New and Bank Transfer.
- Enter the details and select Save.
