How to record transfers of money between bank accounts in Sage Accounting.

Description

Use a bank transfer when you move money between accounts in Accounting, for example when you:

  • Transfer money between your bank accounts and a savings account
  • Pay a credit card that you've set up as a bank account
  • Repay a bank loan recorded in Accounting
  • Transfer money into a cash account, such as petty cash

Resolution

Record a bank transfer

  1. Go to Banking, then select New and Bank Transfer.
  2. Enter the details and select Save.
  3. Click Save.
