Transfer company data to Microsoft 365 for use with Sage 50 Accounts integration features.
Resolution
Uploading your data copies selected Sage 50 Accounts information to Microsoft 365. This allows Sage 50 Accounts and Microsoft 365 services to synchronise data.
Users in your Microsoft 365 organisation can access the uploaded information based on their permissions.
Before you start
Before you upload your data:
- Install and activate Sage 50 Accounts
- Activate your Microsoft 365 account
- Sign in using a Microsoft 365 global administrator account
Depending on the size of your data, the upload can take several minutes to complete. You can't use Sage 50 Accounts while the upload is in progress. Other users can continue working as normal. If you use Remote Data Access, upload the data from the main site.
Upload your data to Microsoft 365
- Install all available Sage 50 Accounts updates.
- Open Sage 50 Accounts and log in as Manager.
- Select the company you want to upload.
- Select Settings, then Company Preferences.
- Enter your password, then select OK.
- Select Microsoft 365, then Let's get started.
- Enter your Microsoft 365 email address, then select Next.
- Enter your Microsoft 365 password, then select Sign in.
- If prompted, select Consent on behalf of your organisation, then select Accept.
- Select Upload Now, then OK.
