Editing the value of a deduction

As this is specific to each employee, you edit the monetary value of a deduction while processing the pay run. 

Editing a deduction

If you've already used the deduction in a pay run, you can only edit the Name and Description.  

To change any other detail, you must create a new deduction.

  1. Select Settings from the menu bar.
  2. Select Payments and Deductions.
  3. Select the Deduction tab.
  4. Select Edit on the required deduction.
  5. Change as needed.

NOTE:

You can't edit the Deduction category and Deduction type even if you haven't used the deduction yet.
