We don't support the installation of Microsoft .NET Frameworks. The following information is for guidance only.

Resolution
When you follow the steps below, sometimes you find the administrator already selected the .NET checkboxes, but it's still causing a software issue.
If this occurs, you can follow the steps below but clear the .NET checkboxes and restart your computer. Then enable them and restart using the steps below.

Consult your IT support before you proceed if you're at all unsure.
Windows 11
Right-click on the Start button and click Settings.
Click System then select scroll down and click Optional features.
Click More Windows features.
Look at the checkbox to the left of .NET Framework 4.8 Advanced Services. If the checkbox is:
Selected, skip ahead to Step 6
Cleared, continue to Step 5 to enable it
Click the + icon to the left of .NET Framework 4.8, and select the options within until you select them all.
Look at the checkbox to the left of .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0). If the checkbox is:
Selected, skip ahead to Step 8
Cleared, continue to Step 7 to enable it
Click the + icon to the left of Frameworks 3.5 and 4.8, and select the options within until you select them all.
