Edit an absence before completing a pay run
Description

If you haven’t completed the pay run but you have created an absence record, you can still make any changes required.

If you edit an absence after you’ve processed the pay run, then Sage Payroll will recalculate any payment due, based on the new details. This can result in corrections appearing in the next pay run.

How to edit an absence if you haven't processed the pay run

  1. Select Summary from the menu bar.
  2. Select Process Pay Run.
  3. Check the pay date is correct, then select Next.
  4. Select the relevant employee.
  5. Select the existing absence record that you want to change.
  6. Make the changes as required.
  7. Select Save and continue with your pay run.
