| | Set up an employee for email payslips |
| Description | You can email your employees their payslips directly from Sage Payroll. This will enable them to access them at any time. Before you can do this, you must edit the employees record selecting the email option. NOTE: The email sends from a generic Sage email address, not from your registered Sage email address.

| Resolution | Set up the employee records - Select Employees from the menu bar.
- Choose the relevant employee.
- Check that the employee has an email address entered in the Email address field. If not, select Change email address and enter one.
- Select Save changes.
- On the confirmation window, select OK.
- Select the Pay Document Preferences tab.
- Under Received by, select Email.
- Add a Password. The employee uses this to open their emailed payslip file. The field is mandatory.
NOTE: Passwords are a minimum of eight characters. Password must contain at least one special character, a lower case character, and a capital letter. - Select Save.
- Repeat the previous steps for each employee you want to send email payslips to.
