View and print historical Job Retention Scheme (JRS) claims
Description

If you used the JRS module to calculate furlough claims, the JRS viewer allows you to view the claims you submitted.

The JRS viewer replaces the JRS module. It's no longer possible to perform new JRS calculations from v31.01.

Resolution

Access the viewer

  1. Go to Company, then Job Retention Scheme.
  2. The JRS viewer opens and displays a list of your claims with totals for each one.
  3. To view claim values for each employee within a claim, select the relevant option under the View More column.

If your JRS viewer is blank but you expected there to be claims, follow the JRS viewer is blank article.

Print claim details

To print a claim, open the JRS viewer and select the checkbox to the left of any claims you'd like to print. Select the Print button to view a preview. From here you can use the Save or Print options in the top left.

Useful information

If you have claims to view, there are a couple of points to remember:

Difference between values

The Total Claimable amount may be lower than the Furlough Claim. This occurs in months from which HMRC started to phase in employers funding part of the total furlough claim.

Furlough Hours calculation

The JRS module used the Furlough Hours in the furlough claim calculation.

You entered the employee's Normal Hours they'd work in the period you were calculating and enter the Actual Hours they worked.

Your software then calculated the Furlough Hours by deducting Actual Hours from Normal Hours.
