With the Sage 50 Accounts CIS v2 module, you can correct and refund subcontractor payments, even after submitting a CIS Return. 

If you use the VAT Cash Accounting scheme, you can't delete a VAT reconciled payment. Instead, post a full refund, then repost the purchase invoice if required.

To check if the payment is VAT reconciled:

• Go to Transactions, find the payment and check the VAT column

Delete a CIS purchase payment

Delete the purchase payment when using the Standard VAT scheme or if it's not VAT reconciled when using the VAT Cash Accounting scheme.

1. Go to Transactions then click the purchase payment (PP) you want to delete.
2. Click Delete, then Delete, then click Yes.

The software deletes both the purchase payment and any related CIS deduction purchase credit (PC).
