Sage Copilot Debt Management - Chase status and Chase history
Description

The software updates the Chase status and Chase history columns on the Debt management with Sage Copilot window, when you send each email. 

 NOTE: Chase status and Chase history are only available in Sage 50 Accounts Professional. If you're interested in upgrading, leave your details and we'll be in touch.

Chase status

The information in this column depends on the type of email sent to your customer. It displays the document types in the Chase level field of the Payment reminder email window.

To check this:

  1. On the Debt management with Sage Copilot window, select the invoice to send.
  2. Click Compose reminder email.
  3. You can view the next email type in the Chase level dropdown.
  4. Click the dropdown to see the order the software sends them in.

View the Chase history

  1. On the Debt management with Sage Copilot window, click View next to the relevant invoice.

This opens the Chase history window which displays each email sent for that invoice.

Reminder history for transaction number shows two dates and times and the types of email sent.

  1. Click Close on this window.

 NOTE: If you restore a backup, the software doesn't overwrite the Chase status and Chase history columns. For example, any Overdue reminders remain 


View customer communications

The Communications tab of the customer record displays more information about the emails sent.  This happens if the Add as entry to customer communications checkbox is selected in your Payment reminder email template.

  1. On the Debt management with Sage Copilot window, click the customers reference in the A/C column.
  2. On their record, select the Communications tab. 

 TIP: Double-click an entry to edit any information.
