Description

Resolution

When working with your VAT Return there are some great reports you can run to view your figures in different levels of detail.

NOTE: Before you can print any reports, you need to create a new VAT return and calculate the figures.

How do I print the reports?

  1. Click VAT then click VAT Return.
  2. Enter the Date range for the period you are reporting for, then click Calculate VAT Return.

If there are any transactions dated before the date range which haven't been reconciled, either click Include or Ignore, depending whether you wanted them included or not.

  3. To find the VAT reports, click Print VAT Return from the Reports section:
This shows a window prompting you to select which reports you'd like to run and how you want to show them.

  4. Select the box next to each report, then select the best output option.

TIP: To save you time, you can choose to run more than one report at once.
VAT Return Report window, showing the type of report selected to create.

For example, in the image above we're choosing to preview the VAT return report and Detailed report.

  5. Click Run to generate your report(s).

See VAT Return reports for more information on the various types of VAT reports available.
