Copilot won’t impact your current workflows but will enhance end to end workflows including VAT submission, getting paid and reconciling your transactions. You can still use your existing workflows without disruption and Copilot will be there to explore. Look out for Copilot in the top right corner to open the chat window or click the insights throughout Sage Accounting. Is Copilot included in my subscription at an extra cost? Sage Accounting now comes with one Sage Copilot user included in your subscription cost, for all tiers. You can add additional Copilot users on to your subscription at an extra cost for Standard and Plus tiers, £20 per user. How do I add on Sage Copilot users to my subscription? You can change your subscription at any time by logging into your product. - On the main toolbar, hover over your business name and then select Manage Business.
- Select Subscriptions & Invoices, and then Manage My Subscription.
- Choose Copilot for how many users you need, and your subscription will be updated.

AI captured receipts and invoices How does AI-capture receipts and invoices work? If you haven’t setup AI-capture receipts and invoices already, you’ll automatically get access from March. Here’s how it works: - Upload your purchase invoices and scans of receipts as PDF, JPG. JPEG, PNG and TIFF files. You can do this by mobile app, by email or in the desktop application.
- We create a draft purchase invoice from your uploaded document.
- Review and approve the draft invoices.

- Sage Accounting Standard: You can approve 30 purchase invoices a month with your subscription. We charge 20p for every extra approved purchase invoice. We'll add this charge to your direct debit the following month
- Sage Accounting Plus: You can approve 100 purchase invoices a month with your subscription. We charge 20p for every extra approved purchase invoice. We'll add this charge to your direct debit the following month
- Included purchase invoices will reset every month, meaning any unused allocation won’t carry over to the next month
How will I know when I’ve used up my included approved purchase invoice allocation? We’ll send you a notification in your Sage Accounting product to let you know when you’re at 80% of your monthly allowance, and again when you’ve reached 100% of your allowance. User limits If I'm a Start customer, what happens if I have more than one user? Users will continue as normal. If you are over the limit of one user when you make a change or add another user, you’ll be asked to upgrade. If I am a Standard customer, what happens if I have more than three users? Users will continue as normal. If you are over the limit of three users when you make a change or add another user, you’ll be asked to upgrade. Does this include my Accountant as a user? No, your accountant isn’t counted within the user limits. Therefore, if you have a Start subscription you have one user plus your accountant. If you have a Standard subscription you have three users, plus your accountant. Subscription changes What if I want to make changes to my subscription? You can make changes to your subscription at any time by logging into your product. - On the main toolbar, hover over your business name and then select Manage Business.
