Notice 24-LC | 15 Jan 2024 Sage 200 Standard and Sage 50 Payroll – Nominal LinkWe’ve identified an issue where customers will receive an error message when using nominal link between Sage 50 Payroll and Sage 200 Standard. The issue is currently under investigation, and we’ll provide updates as this progresses. What does this mean?Customers using Sage 200 Standard & Sage 50 Payroll v29.02 or higher will receive an error message when completing the nominal link process. In all cases we’re recommending that they take note of the journals and check within Sage 200 Standard that the journals have been posted. What are the affected software versions: - Sage 50 Payroll – Version 29.02 or later

Note: the issue does not affect Sage 200 Professional or Sage Partner Cloud deployments. What do I need to do?Customers should take note of the error but click ok to continue, they should then check that their nominal journals have posted correctly. Our testing shows that they do, this error could be shown in a circumstance where there is a genuine failure so the validation is important. We’ve documented this all in a knowledgebase article which can be shared with customers.
