We understand that our API is a cornerstone of the collaborative success we've built together, and we are committed to enhancing it further. With that in mind, we are excited to announce some significant improvements to our API that will empower our customers, partners, and developers even more. These changes will enhance the flexibility and usability of our API, ultimately strengthening our collective ability to meet evolving business needs. We’re happy to share that our Sage 200 API, for external connections, can now be used to establish multiple tenant connections to Sage 200 Professional: customers, partners, and developers will now have the ability to establish multiple connections, making it easier to manage and integrate various solutions seamlessly. We are making these changes to address specific scenarios that will greatly benefit our ecosystem: - Permanent Disaster Recovery: Customers who wish to set up a permanent disaster recovery site with the API integrated into their additional solutions.
- Bespoke Work Testing: Customers looking to utilise their test copies for bespoke work testing before deploying to live environments.
- Test Server Setup: Customers preparing to upgrade and wishing to set up a test server prior to the upgrade will be able to onboard a second test connection effortlessly and perform API migrations seamlessly when ready to go live.
- Partners and developers in house copies: we understand the importance of hands-on experience. Thus, partners and developers will now be able to set up individual API connections using their unique API onboarding. This change ensures that your staff can become intimately familiar with the technology, support it effectively, and seamlessly build solutions that integrate with Sage 200.
