Annual financial budget report
Description

 NOTE: This feature is only available in Sage Accounting Plus.  

Once you've created your budget, use this report to view your budget. 

You can view your budget:

  • For every ledger account, or totals for each ledger category
  • Broken down into each month
  • Year to date totals
  • Gross and net profit and loss per month and Year to date

Run the report

  1. Go to Reporting, then More.
  2. Go to the section Financial budget reports.
  3. Select Annual financial budget.
  4. Select the period you want to view from the drop-down.

The Summary view

By default, the summary view is set to Off.

To change it, select the toggle.

What are the differences between on and off?

  • Summary view Off - This will show every ledger account you have a budget figure entered for on any of the months
     NOTE: Any ledger accounts with a zero figure on every month won't appear.
  • Summary view On - This shows the totals by ledger category rather than every ledger account

Export the report

You can export the report in either CSV, PDF or Excel format. 

 NOTE: If you want to export the report to update your budget figures, follow the steps here > 

  1. Go to Reporting, then More.
  2. Go to the section Financial budget reports.
  3. Select Annual financial budget.
  4. Select the period you want to view from the drop-down.
  5. Select More actions.
  6. Select Export.
  7. Choose CSV, PDF or Excel.
  8. Depending on your browser, the file will either automatically download to your device, or ask you to choose a location to save it.
