| Update your financial budgets using Excel |
Description | NOTE: This feature is only available in Sage Accounting Plus.
You can download a blank budget or your current budget and make changes to it in Excel before re-importing it into Sage Accounting. This guide shows you how. Resolution | - Go to Settings, then Business Settings.
- Choose Financial budgets.
- Choose the budget period you want to update using the drop-down on the top right.
 - Select Update in Excel.
 - Select Export to Excel.
 - Choose a location on your device to save the file and select Save.
- Go to Settings, then Business Settings.
- Choose Financial budgets.
- Select Update in Excel.
 - Select Upload into Accounting.
 - Choose Select file.
- Find and select the Excel file and select Open.
The maximum file size is 0.3MB. - Select Continue.
- Read the important Summary and select Yes if you want to proceed, or No if you want to go back.
- Once you select Yes you will see a message We're uploading your budget.
 - Once complete, you will receive a notification in the navigation bar.
- If the budget has been updated successfully, the notification will say Budget upload complete.
 - If your import has any errors, the notification will say We could only upload part of your budget.
