When you open a Sage 50 Accounts company that is connected to Remote Data Access, the following message can appear:

If you're using the following versions of Windows, this could affect you.

• Windows Vista
• Windows 7
• Windows 8
• Server 2012 R2

This message appears due to security enhancements we're making in October 2023, when TLS 1.1 is being disabled.

To continue using Remote Data Access (RDA), you need to be using TLS 1.2 or above.

Enabling TLS 1.2

To enable TLS 1.2 within your operating system, you need to install updates from Microsoft.
