Resolving the error in Windows 10 and above:

To disable IPV6

NOTE: Sage 50 Accounts uses IPV4 to communicate with the data services. You can disable IPV6 by following the steps below.

IPv6 is a network layer protocol that enables devices to communicate over a network using unique IP addresses, similar to IPv4. For more details, contact your IT support.

Follow these steps on both the computer that holds the data and the computer downloading the data.

  1. Open the Control Panel.
  2. Click Network and Internet.
  3. Click Network and Sharing Centre.
  4. Click Change adapter settings.
  5. Right-click your connection and then click Properties.

  6. Clear the checkbox next to Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6).
  7. Follow the next steps to Lock and Refresh Remote Data Access.

Lock and Refresh Remote Data Access

This process will refresh your Remote Data Access connection.  Follow the steps in our Lock and Refresh Remote Data Access guide, on the computer that uploaded the data to Remote Data Access.

If this doesn't resolve the issue, follow the next step to Reset Remote Data Access.

Reset Remote Data Access

To resolve this, you need to take RDA down and re-upload it. You can follow our Reset Remote Data Access guide to do this.
