When you try to import data into Sage 50 Accounts from an XLS file, the software can crash during the import process.
This can be caused by the Protected View setting on the XLS file. For more information on Protected View, see Microsoft's Support page.
The XLS file format can cause the software to crash. To resolve this, re-save the XLS file as a CSV file and you're able to import your data.
