Before entering your date

  • Even if postponing automatic enrolment, you still enter the duties start date given to you by TPR.
  • You can only amend the duties start date if you haven't processed any pay runs for that period.
  • For cyclical re-enrolment, there is no need to change your duties start date.

To enter your duties start date:

  1. Select the Summary tab.
  2. The Auto Enrolment / Pensions section is on the right. Enter the duties start date you received from TPR.
  3. Select Set duties start date.

After entering your date

The Summary tab shows a countdown until your duties start. If you need to edit your duties start date, return to the Summary screen and select Amend duties start date.

You can't process a pay run until you set up a pension scheme.  When you reach the duties start date, you will see two options on the Summary screen. Postpone Auto Enrolment or Amend duties start date. You must choose one of these options and then follow the steps.

CAUTION: Ensure the option you choose is right before processing a pay run. You won't be able to change it later.
