Set up your Smart Pension scheme in PayrollIfyou’re new to Payroll, or you haven’t set up your Smart Pension scheme yet, you must complete the following tasks:Process a pay run with your Smart Pension contributions- Process a Pay Run that includes Smart Pension contributions and complete the pay run.
- Click View Submission Details. A summary of your submission appears.
- Enter your Sage login details if prompted. Confirm your figures.
- Click Submit Online to send your pension contribution details to Smart Pension.
If this is your first submission, you may need to confirm some details. This authorises your submissions to Smart. Once completed, your first submission to Smart Pension commences. TIP: If your Payroll links to an accountant, you will use either your own details or your accountants. When a submission is in progress, you can't edit a completed pay run. This is to prevent inconsistencies between payroll data, and data submitting to Smart.
