When you’re moving money around your bank accounts in Accounting, use a Bank Transfer, for example:

• Moving money between bank accounts such as your current and savings accounts
• You make payments to your credit card set as a bank account
• Repaying bank loans that you've recorded in your account
• Paying money into a cash account, like petty cash

Record a bank transfer

1. Go to Banking, then select New and Bank Transfer.
2. Enter the details and select Save.

3. Click Save.
