Once the above steps have been completed, you are ready to start creating your own Power Automate flow.

Go to the Power Automate website and log in using your Microsoft 365 credentials. From here you will need to go to My Flows and you will see the example flow you previously uploaded. Click on the menu () button and choose Save as. Give your flow a new name and click Save.

You should then see the following screen:

Once saved, your flow will appear below:

To get in and edit your flow, click on the Pencil icon. This will bring you to the next screen:

You can remove a step by clicking on the ellipsis on the right hand side and choosing ‘Delete’.

In the below example we will delete the Get CompanyDetails step.

NOTE: We would recommend keeping the Error Handling Notify in case something does go wrong in the Flow. You can then intercept it and correct the problem.

CAUTION: Do not delete the 1st 5 steps. This is the flow building the API request, and we require the SubscriptionKeySiteID, CompanyID and CompanyName to help authenticate and return the right information

Next, you will then need to add a new step. To do this, hover your mouse over the arrow between the 2 steps you would like your work to be done and click on the + symbol. You will then choose Add an action.

You will then be asked to choose an action.

You are presented with all the available custom connectors that you can add to your flow. To access the Sage 200 Custom Connector that was created, you will need to go to the Custom tab, and choose your Sage 200 Connector.

Choose the Sage 200 Connector, and under Actions you will see a full list of actions available to you like this:

You can then choose one of the actions and add it to your flow.

They will require some fields as prerequisites to calling the information from Sage 200. Click on the step you have added and you will see the below screen:

From here, you can now use the tools within Power Automate to decide how to handle the information that you retrieve as part of your Flow.
