Record a supplier refund

  1. Go to Bank accounts.
  2. Select the bank account to receive the money into.
  3. On the tool bar, select Supplier refund.
  4. Complete the boxes as required:
    • Ensure the correct Bank A/C is selected
    • Select the correct Account in the Supplier Details section
    • Enter the Date of the refund in the Refund Details section
    • Enter the refund amount. Enter this in the Amount field or Amount column next to the credit note

If required, you can Allocate a supplier refund to a credit note later.

  1. Once the boxes are complete, click Save.
  2. If you don't allocate the refund to a purchase credit, you'll see this message:
    'There is an unallocated refund of [insert amount] do you want to post an unallocated refund?', click Yes.

This refund now appears as a PR on your supplier activity.
