How to part allocate stock to a sales order or quotation
Description

 After creating your sales order, you need to allocate stock before you record any despatch of goods.

 NOTE: To allocate the full order, use the Allocate stock option.

  1. Click Sales orders or Quotations.
  2. Select the sales order or quote you require, then click Amend allocations.
  3. In the Allocated column, enter the quantity you want to allocate for each product.

    If Sage 50 Accounts can't allocate all stock, a message box appears giving suggestions with possible reasons. For example, if you have insufficient stock.

  4. Click Close.
