How do I part allocate stock to a sales order or quotation?
Description

After you've created a sales order or sales order quotation, you can allocate stock to it. For sales orders you must allocate stock before you can record any despatched goods.

 NOTE: If you want to allocate the full order you can also use the Allocate stock option.

  1. Click Sales orders or Quotations and select the sales order or quote you require, then click Amend allocations.
  2. In the Allocated column enter the quantity you want to allocate for each product.

    If Sage 50 Accounts can't allocate all stock, a message box appears giving suggestions and possible reasons why, for example, if you've insufficient stock.

  3. Click Close.
