| How do I allocate stock to a sales order or quotation? |
Description | After you've created a sales order or sales order quotation, you can allocate stock to it. For sales orders you must allocate stock before you can record any despatched goods. NOTE: If you don't want to allocate the full order you can also do a part allocation. |
Resolution | [BCB:42:CSat FB drive:ECB]- Click Sales orders or Quotations and select the sales order or quote you require then click Allocate stock.
- When prompted to confirm the allocation, click Yes.
If Sage 50 Accounts can't allocate all stock, a message box appears giving suggestions and possible reasons why, for example, if you've insufficient stock.
For each sales order selected, an Allocated status of FULL is shown.
