You can send notification letters to your employees that are being furloughed. You can then use the Job Retention Scheme Module to keep track of when you sent the notification letters to your employees.

Before you send the notification letters to your employees, you need to have completed steps one to five in the Job Retention Scheme module.

NOTE: The letter supplied is optional and if CJRS legislation changes, may not be up to date at the time of release. As an alternative, Furlough letter templates are available from ACAS.

1. Click Company then click Job Retention Scheme Module.
2. Next to step 6, Send notification letters to your employees, click Do it now.
3. To preview the letter for an employee, click Preview Letter.
4. Select the required employees, then click Print.

   If you've already sent your own letters to your employees, you can click Mark as Sent.

5. Click Save.
6. You can now export the information to HMRC for your claim.
