If you have other users who process payroll, you can control whether they have access to the Online Services options within Sage 50 Payroll.

This is how you give users access to upload payslips.

1. Log in to Sage 50 Payroll, and select Company.
2. In the Task menu, select Online Services Settings.
3. Use Step 1 on the list of options to check you're logged in:
   • If you are, the button to the right says Log Out. In this case, continue to Step 4
   • If you aren't, the button to the right says Log In. In this case, enter your Sage account details for your Sage HR admin email address then continue to Step 4
4. Next to Step 3 in Online Services Settings to manage access to your Online Services, select Do it now.
   • Sometimes Step 3 is unavailable even if you're using the main admin account. In this case, contact Sage 50 Payroll technical support.
5. Locate the relevant user under the User heading. This is the username they use to log in to Sage 50 Payroll, not Sage HR.
6. Under the Access heading, click the checkbox to expand it then select ▼ Online Payslips.

   

7. Select ▼ Add User and add the email address this person uses to sign into Online Services Settings.

   

8. Click Save.

This user now has access to upload payslips from Sage 50 Payroll to Sage HR.

They can also access the following options in Sage 50 Payroll:

• Step 3: Manage your access to your Online Services - Be able to control other's access to Online Services Settings
• Step 4: Manage your employees - Be able to add employees to have access to Sage HR Online Services
• Step 5: Upload historical payslips - Be able to upload payslips from previous pay periods
• Step 7: Visit your Online Services - Quick access to log in to your company in Sage HR Online Services

Can users who can upload payslips also view the payslips in Sage HR Online Services?

The user who first set up Sage HR Online Services has access by default to upload payslips and view them in Sage HR Online Services. This user is the main admin user.

Other users you add in Sage 50 Payroll don't automatically have access to view payslips in Sage HR Online Services.
