| Description | If an employee leaves your employment, mark them as a leaver and include this in the FPS to HMRC. If you've submitted the wrong leave date on an FPS, you can't amend HMRCs records with your software. |
| Resolution | Once you've submitted the FPS to HMRC with the leaver details you can't send a different leave date using Sage 50 Payroll. This is because HMRC's systems won't accept a different leave date after you've already submitted one. We recommend that you correct the leave date in Payroll, but for further guidance on any next steps contact HMRC.
