If an employee leaves your employment, you must mark them as a leaver and include this in the full payment submission (FPS) to HMRC.

If you've submitted the wrong leave date on an FPS, you can't amend HMRCs records with your software.

Once you've submitted the FPS to HMRC with the leaver details there is no way to send a different leave date using your software.

We recommend that you correct the leave date in Payroll, but for further guidance on any next steps you must contact HMRC.
