| Why can't I unallocate a transaction? |
Description | Sometimes within the Transactions module in Sage 50 Accounts, if you select a transaction you can't select the Unallocate option. Below we explain why the unallocate option isn't available for you and what you must do instead. |
Resolution | Not allocated | The selected transaction is not currently allocated to another transaction. |
---|
Non-base currency | Foreign Trader is active and the selected transaction is a non-base currency.
Instead you must delete the transaction which also corrects the revaluation postings. |
---|
CIS transaction | The CIS module is active and the transaction is a CIS purchase invoice (PI), purchase credit (PC) or purchase payment (PP).
Instead you must delete the PP and the PC is deleted automatically. |
---|
Link removed | The transaction is allocated to a transaction that no longer exists, for example, due to repaired data corruption.
These transactions can't be unallocated or deleted. Read more > |
