Report Designer - Customise your Remittance layouts
Description

You can make basic changes such as adding your company logo and bank details, or create a completely bespoke design.

When using Report Designer we recommend that you edit an existing remittance layout that's close to what you want, rather than creating a completely new one. You can save the layout as a new file so you still have the original document, plus your newly amended one.

Open and save your document

  1. Click Bank, then click Remittances.
  2. Click any remittance record, then click Print Remittances.
  3. Select the document you want to change:
    A4 Remittance Layout (Plain Paper (Print or Email)This layout is intended to be printed onto plain paper and includes all boxes and headings.
    Remittance Layout - 11"To be used with 11" Sage Remittance stationery.
    Remittance Layout - A4To be used with A4 Sage Remittance stationery.
    Security Mailer RemittanceThis layout contains the same information as the standard remittance layouts and is designed to fit the Sage secure mailer stationery.
  4. Click Edit.
  5. On the menu bar click Report, then click Report Properties.
  6. Enter a new report name and description, then click OK.
  7. On the menu bar click File then click Save As.
  8. Enter a new file name, then click Save.

Changes you can make

You can now customise your layout from within Report Designer. The most common examples are shown below:

ImageAdd an image to your layout, for example your company logo.
Text boxesAdd a text boxes to your document, for example to display your payment terms or bank details.
Data fieldYou can add most fields held in Sage 50 Accounts and show them on your layout.
Lines and BoxesAdd lines and boxes to highlight important data or separate your items.
