| | Remove a user that's logged in to the software |
| Description | If a user appears logged in but isn't, it could be due to an unexpected computer closure. This can also happen if they didn't log out correctly. |
| Resolution | To log out the user Log on as the user - Open Sage 50 Accounts and log on as the named user.
If you don't know the user's password, follow steps 1 to 4 in the Remove user using the Manager logon section. - A message appears informing you that the user's already logged in.
- To remove the user from the request list, click Yes.
- If required, click File and Exit to log out.
Remove user using the Manager logon Sage 50 Accounts v27 and above - Open Sage 50 Accounts and log on as Manager.
- Click Settings then User Management then click Active Sessions.
- Select the user you want to remove, click Remove then Close.
- If required, click File and Exit to log out.

- Click View then User List.
- Select the user you want to remove, click Remove then Close.
- If required, click File and Exit to log out.
If the issue persists You can refresh the queue.dta file which stores who's logged in. Before you do this, ensure everyone to log outs of Sage 50 Accounts. This includes users using Remote Data Access.
