Resolution | Set up Authy ▼ Set up Authy for iOS Download the Authy App – Download the app on your mobile - Download and install the Authy app from the Apple store
Registering the Authy App – Following the registration process in the app - Click on your chosen method to receive the account verification.
- Open the Authy app, click Code and search then select United Kingdom. The Authy app may suggest on screen your own mobile number, if this is correct select your mobile number, if not click None Of The Above and enter your mobile number manually. Click OK.
- Click on your chosen method to receive the account verification.
- Phone call. You'll receive an automated call, answer the call and press 0 on your phones keypad to listen to the 4-digit code. This is repeated 3 times. Enter your registration code into the Authy app using your phones keypad
- SMS. Once you receive your code click on Registration Code and enter your code contained in the text message
- The app has been registered but next accounts need to be added.
Enabling two-factor authentication - Once you've completed the application for Salary and Supplier Payments or when you have been added to an existing account you'll receive a Authy 'Welcome' email. This email allows you to link your Authy app to your Salary and Supplier Payments account.
- Within the welcome email right click on the Sign in Click Open link in incognito window. This link will take you to the Salary and Supplier Payments webpage. Click Continue. Salary and Supplier payment will automatically detect if you've a SageID and present different screens as a result.
- On screen it details what Authy is and where it can be downloaded. If you've already installed and registered the app then click on I’ve installed and registered the app. If not see sections within this article ‘Download the Authy App’ and then ‘Registering the Authy App’.
- In the website enter your mobile number and press Next.
- You'll receive an SMS on your phone with a 4-digit code.
- Enter the 4-digit code in the screen in the website. Click Submit.
- You're then asked to enter the 7-digit code, this code is displayed in your phone's Authy app main screen. Open the Authy app and enter the code displayed on your phones screen into the website. Example format 00-000-00. If your code isn't displayed click on Sage within the app.
- You're then taken to the Salary and Supplier Payments landing screen. The Authy app is now registered and linked to your Salary and Supplier Payments account.

▼Set up Authy for Chrome Plugin NOTE: The Twilio Authy Desktop app will be removed on 19 March 2024. Only iOS and Android apps will be available after this date. Read more > Download the Authy App – Download the extension in Chrome - Navigate to the chrome web store.
- Click Add to Chrome. A prompt appears, click Add extension.
- The Authy icon will be added to the top right of your browser (red circle with white lines). Click on the Authy icon in the top right of your browser. A message may appear detailing ‘turn on sync’. Click the x in this message to close.
- Click Download. Click Add to Chrome. Click Add app.
- On screen will be a number of apps, click on the Authy app (red circle with white lines).
Registering the Authy extension – Following the registration process in the chrome extension - From the drop down select United Kingdom. Enter your mobile number, click OK. Enter your email address, click OK. Click on your chosen method to receive the account verification code, this is either Phone call or SMS.
- Once you receive your code enter this onscreen in the box
- Your code is displayed on screen, you'll receive an automated call. Enter the code using your phones keypad
- You're then taken to the Authy window. The app has been registered but next the account needs to be added.
