To submit under MTD from within your software, you must be using Sage 50 Accounts v26.3 or above.

Check your serial number and key
Check that you've activated your Sage 50 Accounts licence by entering the correct serial number, activation key and account number. You can check your details using our quick MTD check tool.
Check regional settings
VAT options in Sage 50 Accounts are determined by the regional settings on the computer. If you've checked all of the above and the MTD option is still missing:
- Check that the regional settings are set to UK.
- In Sage 50 Accounts, on the menu bar click Tools then click Activation.
- Click Refresh licence then click OK.
