To check the version number of your Sage 50 Accounts software, for example when you're upgrading or installing the software on a new computer. 

If you can access the software

1. Click Help and click About.
2. Under Program Details in the left column, note the Version Number.
   

If you can't access the software

1. On your keyboard, press the Windows key  + R, enter appwiz.cpl then press Enter.
2. Look Sage 50 Accounts on the list then in the Version column, note the number, in this example 27.2.662.0.
   
   

   

Install any required updates

If your version number isn't the latest version available, you can check for updates to make sure you're always up to date. Visit Sage 50 Accounts software updates.
