You must submit an annual RTD form to Revenue if you're VAT registered in Ireland. You can easily generate the RTD values in Sage 50 Accounts and copy them into the official Revenue form. If you're registered for Revenue Online Service (ROS), you can complete this form online via the ROS website.

When is the RTD due?
Your RTD covers the same period as your company's accounting period for corporation tax. The submission is due by the 19th of the month following the month your accounting period ends.
For example, if your accounting period ends on 31 August, you must submit your return by the 19 September.
Things to check
Before generating the RTD, it's important to check the following:
Only VAT reconciled transactions appear on the RTD report. Ensure all transactions within your RTD period are reconciled
Ensure you set up all your tax codes with the correct rate. If your tax code doesn’t have the correct settings, the transactions won’t appear in the RTD return
You can check these within Settings, Configuration, Tax Code
Select the code then click Edit. Use our default tax codes article for a list of default tax codes available in your software
Select the required Rate from the drop-down
Tick the Resale box
If you don't see the RTD button, set your computer's regional settings to Ireland
