NOTE: This doesn't affect the way that stock is allocated to sales orders. For more information about how to check sales order allocations, please refer to this guide > TIP: To improve the way you use Sage Accounts, the toolbar options vary with size of the software window you're using. You can also customise the toolbars to your individual preferences. The instructions in Ask Sage are based on the default toolbars. For more information, please refer to this guide > Allocate stock- Click Products and services, click the Allocations drop down then click Allocate stock and click OK.
- Complete the Allocations window as required.
TIP: If you are not allocating the stock to a project, do not complete the Project Ref and Cost Code boxes. - Click Save and click Close.
NOTE: If you specify a project on a purchase order, the stock is automatically allocated to the project when the order is delivered.
View or change allocated stock- Click Products and services, click the Allocations drop down then click Amend allocations and click OK.
- From the Product Code or Project Reference drop-down list, choose the required product or project as follows:
- To view all allocations for a product, choose the required product.
- To view all allocations for a project, choose the required project.
- To view the allocations of a product to a particular project, choose the required product and project.
- If required, change the Quantity Allocated figure.
- Click Save and click Close.
Issue allocated stock- Click Products and services, click the Allocations drop down then click Issue allocations and click OK.
- From the Product Code or Project Reference drop-down list, choose the required product or project as follows:
- To view all allocations for a product, choose the required product.
- To view all allocations for a project, choose the required project.
- To view the allocations of a product to a particular project, choose the required product and project.
- In the Quantity to Issue column, enter the quantity that you want to issue.
TIP: To issue all allocations, click Issue All. - Click Save and click Close.
NOTE: When you issue an allocation, Sage Accounts posts an adjustment out (AO) transaction on the relevant product. If you issue stock to a project, the committed cost of the project reduces and the actual cost increases. [BCB:121:Limitless - 50 Accounts - Products and Services:ECB] |
