Check what a product is allocated to
Description

In each product record, the allocated value shows the quantity of stock that has already been assigned to a sales order or a project.

Check which projects or sales orders a product is allocated to

  1. Click Products and services and select the required product then click Edit.
  2. In Allocated, click the plus button .

    This shows a list of allocations:
    • If it's allocated to a project, the project reference and cost code appear in the relevant columns
    • If it's allocated but doesn't have a project assigned, the line appears as blank, you can unallocate this using the same steps below
    • If it's allocated to a sales order, a sales order number appears in the Order No column

Amend a product allocation

  1. Click Products and services and click Amend allocations.
  2. Click the Product Code drop-down and click the required product.
  3. To remove or amend the stock allocation, in the Quantity Allocated column enter 0.00 or the amended value.
  4. Click Save and click Close.
