System requirements for Sage 50 P11D
Minimum requirements

Operating system

Sage 50 P11D is compatible with both 32 or 64-bit versions of the following operating systems:
  • Windows 11
  • Windows Server 2016
  • Windows Server 2019
  • Windows Server 2022
Ensure you install all the latest Microsoft service packs and updates, and that you have sufficient free disc space.

Office integration

Some features of Sage 50 P11D interact with and require an installation of Microsoft Office. Check the compatibility of your software with Microsoft Office.

To check if it's the desktop version,

  1. Search for Control Panel in your Windows taskbar.
  2. Select Control Panel then Programs.
  3. Select the Default Programs option, then Set your default programs.
  4. Check here if Microsoft Outlook is the desktop version.

Check the operating system

  • Press the Windows key and R then type winver then click OK.

This opens 'About Windows', which displays the operating system details.

Sage 50 P11D isn't compatible with Apple computers.


Check the computer specifications

Operating system, processor speed and RAM

  • Press the Windows key and R then type msinfo32 then click OK.

If the memory appears in KB (Kilobytes), to calculate the equivalent in MB (Megabytes) you can divide the figure by 1024. Alternatively, use the following values as a guide:

  • 1 GB = 1,024 MB = 1,048,576 KB
  • 512MB = 524,288 KB
  • 256MB = 262,144 KB
  • 128MB = 131,072 KB
  • 64MB = 65,536 KB
  • 32MB = 32,768 KB
  • 16MB = 16,384 KB

Free disk space

Press the Windows key and E then click This PC then right-click C: then click Properties.


Check the display settings

  1. Click the Start button then click Control Panel.
  2. Click Appearance and Personalisation.
  3. Click Display then click Adjust screen resolution.
