How to open Sage Personal Tax for your own return or a client's return. Starting from the correct area helps you access the right tax year.
How you access Sage Personal Tax depends on whether you're completing your own return or managing a client's return.
If you're completing your own return, Sage Personal Tax becomes available after you submit all four quarterly updates for the tax year.
You also need an active Sage Accounting or Sage Sole Trader subscription and Administrator access.
If your HMRC authorisation has expired, Sage asks you to reconnect before you continue.
If you're an accountant, access Sage Personal Tax from the client's record in Client Management.
