HMRC only allows one active Making Tax Digital (MTD) for Income Tax authorisation at a time. How to remove the link between Sage and HMRC.

Description

To remove the authorisation, sign in to your HMRC online services account. From there, manage the software you've authorised to act on your behalf.

Once you remove Sage from your authorised software, you can connect to your new provider. Follow the authorisation steps your new software provides.

NOTE:

Sage can't remove the MTD authorisation on your behalf. Only HMRC and the account holder can manage these permissions.
