ERROR: X3.TRT/ORDSYS$adx (52) Error 27: Problem with access to a file ELF

Description

When using Workflow Monitor (SAIWRKPLN) to sign workflow notifications, use sees Application error "X3.TRT/ORDSYS$adx (52) Error 27: Problem with access to a file ELF" followed by "F:[AWAX] : Class nonexistent"

Reported in X3 version 2025 R2 (12.0.38)

Cause

Incorrect Workflow parameter setting. The SYRMAIL parameter is set to "No" This needs to be set "Yes"

Resolution

Navigate to Parameters, General parameters, Parameter values (ADPVAL)

Select Module: SUP, Group: WRK

Set parameter SYRMAIL "Use Notification server" to "Yes"

Click OK and SAVE the change
